2.2 Component kit label (’’Government unique” requirement) - A list of the kit components shall be printed on an adhesive backed waterproof white label with waterproof ink. This label shall be securely attached to the inside of the barber kit case cover and contain the following information:

2.3 Instruction label (“Government unique” requirement”. The instructions for care of the tools shall be printed on an adhesive backed waterproof white label with waterproof ink. This label shall be securely attached to the inside of the barber kit case cover next to the kit listing of components. These instructions shall read as follows:
“INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CARE OF THE BARBER KIT TOOLS”
Sterilization. Keep all parts of equipment clean. Detach cutter head from electric clipper and brush away debris. Immediately after use on each patron, wash the clippers, comb, blades, electric clipper detachable cutter head, and shears with soap and water to remove all film and debris. After washing, all instruments shall be immersed for 15 minutes in a disinfectant solution prepared in accordance with the manufacturers recommended instructions. All disinfected instruments shall be rinsed in water after immersion to remove the chemical, and then dried prior to use. Change the solution daily, dry all items prior to storage.
Sharpening. Do not attempt to sharpen blades in the field, replace with extra set and exchange for new set.
